Terms of Service & Platform Limitations

1. Fundamental Notice of Platform Scope & Legal Status
BIKENTRY is a private, community-operated vehicle registry and QR identification platform. Registration on BIKENTRY does NOT constitute government motor vehicle title, official state vehicle registration, or certified legal guarantee of vehicle ownership.
An administrator's approval of a registration submission signifies only that the platform has reviewed the user-submitted details. It does NOT guarantee that a vehicle is not stolen, does not verify physical provenance, and does not replace official police reporting.
2. Truthful Representations
Users agree to catalog only vehicles that they lawfully own or have explicit legal authority to manage. Registering vehicles known to be stolen or submitting fraudulent serial numbers is grounds for immediate account termination and reporting to appropriate civil or law enforcement authorities.
3. QR Stickers & Anti-Tamper Notice
Users acknowledge that physical QR stickers may be removed, defaced, or copied by malicious third parties. Scanners of physical stickers are advised to verify that displayed photos and distinctive characteristics match the physical bicycle.
4. Limitation of Liability
BIKENTRY does not guarantee vehicle recovery and is not liable for theft, damage, lost property, or disputes arising between buyers and sellers during ownership transfers.
